With half of the year gone now I am still not seeing the new models and upgrades to the 2025 announcement back earlier this year. Am I missing something or is the Buck website not updated yet ? I’ve been patiently waiting to ogle the newest offerings and prices. Anyone know?

I have a screenshot somewhere of it, but months back when they first announced the new Bucks an employee must have lost one to TSA because I saw a Buck Range Elite for auction.

A couple months ago, one person on the auction site sold quite a few unreleased Buck knives. They seem to be inactive now.

In early May I emailed Buck a listing of a Range model on eBay. Here was Buck's response.

That is not a legitimate sale. It is a sales sample knife so it is not of the standard quality the actual Range will be once released.

Wow - that's crazy. If they're all sales samples like the one Generalist Generalist mentioned, I doubt a Buck sales rep would jeopardize their job by listing these. I wonder if it's a case of lost/stolen mail, or lost a bag at the airport, or what. Possibilities are endless.

All 13 appear to have sold and the buyers left positive feedback. One eBay user bought 9, another bought 3, and another bought 1. I wonder if one of those purchasers is Buck Knives Inc. Buck Knives Inc. just getting them off the street, regardless of how they got out there.

The seller has been on eBay since late December, and these 13 sales are roughly 1/3rd of all his sales - but the rest of his stuff for sale is completely unrelated to knives. Weird. We'll probably never know, but it's curious, nonetheless.

But seriously, one of y'all had to have been one of those three purchasers, so let's see some pictures! LOL!

Crazy... I can't imagine that there were many complete batches like this out there, so probably the vender show samples. I wonder if those are shipped ahead of time to the venue with the booth setup stuff, or checked at the airport by an employee going there?

The seller is still active, so we can probably assume that they weren't part of any sort of theft, but I am curious too, on how they ended up with them.
