2061 Stainless Steel

My google-fu is faltering. Is 2061 the designation of a manufacturer (i.e. VG-10, S30V) or an organization (i.e. AISI/SAE 52100)?
 
From what I can tell, it is not a blade steel, and from what it is used in, probably cannot be hardened. But that is a cursory look at products made from it via Google.
