That "Step Stone" pattern is milled into the stainless bolster and is found on all three of the Buck Koji knives—204 folder, 205 dagger, and 208 fixed. It may represent a stone, but I sometimes think of the pattern as contour lines on a small scale, maybe a pattern formed on sand by wave action. Whatever it is, I like it.That unique patern is call Step Stone.
