20CV Bugout Options

I'm sure the lack of options on the custom builder for blade steel has been brought up already. What are the current runs with 20cv to consider. I know the BladeHQ version but I'm not a big fan of white G10.
 
The BHQ exclusive is the only 20CV version I can recall. I agree about the light gray G10, but I've come close to buying it when it was marked down. It was $140 most of this summer. That's a screaming deal.

The 535-4 is M390 which is equivalent to 20CV and a very nice knife too.
 
I thought BladeHQ was the only one too until I saw a Work Sharp limited edition with 20cv. That kind of surprised me so it got me wondering what other limited runs there are out there.

I'll probably just get the 535-4 in M390 because I like the colors too but I have a set of titanium scales waiting already.
 
I forgot about the Work Sharp edition.

Another is the 535-1901 limited with two tone G10 with the butterfly.
 
IMHO it’s worth it to go with the S90/CF version, The solid carbon fiber scales really put it on another level. Sure you can upgrade G 10 skills on your own but then you end up probably paying more and between those two steels practical performance is basically a wash.
 
Isn't the Bugout available in the custom shop anymore? I got one there in S90V.

It is available. Only blade options are s90 or s30. They removed all other options. They also no longer have titanium scales as an option. Only grivory, g10 and CF.
 
For my money, having identical Benchmade knives in S90V and 20CV, I'd prefer the S90V. It holds an edge better than anything else I've ever used, including 20CV and M390, even M4. But others' mileage may vary.
 
The BHQ option ins't even available anymore at the moment. Is it gone for good or will they get another batch?
I live in Europe and if I want to order custom shop s90v version, the cheapest option ($210) will cost me an additional $58 in taxes. It's just not worth it :S

The black Cerakoted version is available. It and the satin version have cycled in and out of stock repeatedly for two years, so I wouldn't be surprised to see another run.
