21 and 31 scales interchangable?

Does anyone know if the presentation scales are interchangeable between the 21 and 31?

I was curious about it too and I put a front 21 scale on my 31, no problem.

I tried and failed with a KA CF scale on a large 31. The blade wanted to bind... Maybe I needed to use the old 21 style stop pin?

Perhaps hit or miss, but I definitely put a large 21 presentation side crosshatch on my 31 and it worked. Of course, I switched it right back out of the fear...

The geometry on the CF scale models are much more finnicky with this kind of thing. I even talked to CRK about it to confirm my suspicions after my experiences with reassembly.
