All I can say is WOW! I had no idea how nice this khuk would be or how BIG it would be. My 18 WWII was my favorite khuk but this one might just hold that honor now. The handle was larger than I expected which made it look "smaller" in pictures. It is massive yet very fast, the hollow ground blade is gorgeous. It was a blem which aunties sister repaired. She did a pretty nice job but I might darken in the filling material later. The chakma and karda had some really nice wood on it, I mean show quality. The blade had a sharp edge its entire length and almost no hammer marks. I think Lachhu might me my favorite kami now, it was Rajkumar due to his amazing bashpati work but this Gelbu is something special. I got it for a song, I cant believe what a great deal she gave me.

"12 Gelbu"? That looks more like 18-20" to me. Beautiful man beautiful! That one has a very nice deep fuller. Mine is fairly shallow compared to yours. You did good! Lachhu is good with them fullers. I have a 20"AK by Lachhu and hes right there with Bhakta. That crack looks like it was done with superglue. I'd do epoxy myself.
 
Nice photo sharing, gurkha berserka! The hand grip look huge. Is it real 12 inches long in length???

You might want to get one of them test I think you might be deflectic.

You knife looks fantastic. Let us know on that checkup. Nothing to be ashamed of, I used to lick windows but look at me now.

There is a way to fix the title but I forget now. Something about control, control then shift or something like that. Does anyone remember?
 
Don't lose any sleep over it, the pictures tell the story just fine and dandy. Nothing to be concerned about.
 
Hey if I control double tap on my name can I give myself some kind of ketchy title. I always wanted to be impotent. I don't relish the idea of having to dress impotent but I always wanted to be, I mean nothing like a bus driver or that impotent but something ketchy ya know?

Bawanna keeps me rollin! People at work think im laughing at inanimate objects. When Im at home my wife thinks im laughing at something on the TV. Every once in a while she looks at me crazy looking cause it dont match up.
Bawanna you shouldnt lick windows till February. Bring your favorite Khuk with ya tho.
 
What a beautiful blade!

Worth mentioning: The fullers on the Gelbu are hollow forged, not hollow ground. Better. Stronger.
