Yipee - it arrived, and with the speed of a cheetah !!
Unwrapped it and my jaw dropped, what a blade. Perfect in every way. Craftmanship is spectactular and it screems WEAPON.
Sher is very good and I can't fault anything on this blade. The fullers are very good - not deep but just right !! The new edge is strange and I wonder how it will perform. The long blade feels strange and more apart of your arm than a foreign object. Flows through the air and sings !!
It feels solid but the weight is strange as it is 30oz. +- 850 grams but it feels lighter, almost like nothing. Grip is unusual, more oblong shape than round and the butcap is bigger than my others. Scabbard perfect but the little leather piece on the inside of the chakma slot is missing but it will probably be down there somewhere.
