Yangdu mails like the wind:thumbup:

First impression of this gorgeous khukuri was just how aesthetically perfect it is. The handle has a graceful curve to it which feels custom designed for my hand.

The balance is impeccable.

The forging is very finely done. The edge bevel is perfect; nearly flat with a slight convex geometry, and it is perfectly even the entire length of the cutting surface.

And it cuts like a lightsaber.

l took it out for a few hours to test it on the usual multiflora rose and vines, Cutting power is amazing... almost supernatural.

And what struck me is it felt l was reunited with this khukuri rather than scoring it on Yangdu's Deal 0f The Day...

l'd rate it 10 out of 10.

This is a magnificent khukuri, Yangdu. Many thanks!

I thought you'd like it. :D They are something, aren't they?

Steve

Absolutely!

l've read remarks about Sher's craftsmanship. Now I see it for myself.

He is a true artist.

This has got to be the most beautiful blade I own.

I have a 21" wood-handled Sher chitlangi -- they're everything you say they are. Wonderful blades.

Well l've been hacking away at brush with it for a few days now and it's a true pleasure to use.

Unlike my 20" AK and my 25" Sirupati, the 21" Chitlangi is very easy to recover and maneuver when engaging multiple targets. It is very fast and agile. I'm strong enough to wield those heavier khuks, but the Chitlangi hardly requires any real effort from me to do so. It would be a ferocious blade to use in a self defense situation.

Trouble is, now my wife is looking at it with covetous eyes...

I'll eventually have to get her a small one just like it.

His and Hers Chitlangis.
