21 Lanyard Pins -- Small vs. Large

I decided to remove the lanyard from one of my large 21s and one of my small 21s. I noticed the next day the lanyard pin was gone from my large 21. I didn't realize that the lanyard was actually keeping it from sliding out and so it's gone. However on the small 21 that doesn't seem to be the case. The pin doesn't moves around slightly and makes noise as I'm handling the knife. It seems like I would need to disassemble the knife to remove the lanyard pin -- is that true or is it just stuck?

That is true. They use the same size pin but machine the ends down to make it fit in the smaller handle holes. It can't come out without disassembly.

yes my other is a small I,ll just put another lanyard back in the lg and thank you for the heads up akrapacs
