21 stop pin

I bought a used large 21 insingo cf and I took it apart to clean it and noticed the stop pin has a nice ridge all the way around it. I don't remember this on my small 21 I had. Is this normal? Centering was dead on but lock up was 85-96%.

I know sebenzas are notorious for late lock up. Is it something to worry about or just watch it to see if it moves. Sometimes the lock bar also seems slightly sticky on the blade

My understanding is that the flanged side goes against the CF scale. I think these are specific to the CF models. Never seen the flanged stop pin on other Sebenzas. And I've heard later lockup is common on CRKs as well. I had a Small WC Starbenza that had pretty late lockup. Everyone said it was fine, use it, no problem. Never had an issue with it. You've got a great looking CF Insingo there.

This is the stop pin that the carbon fiber scales use. The flanged side goes against the carbon fiber scale to give it more support as compared to the stop pin that is used on the much harder Ti scales. This is perfectly normal. Use and enjoy.

I am very picky with my lockup. I try to Only buy sebenzas that have 50% lockup. I have passed on tons that I would have otherwise purchased because they 75%ish. It's just a personal preference.

I got a Small CF and was not exactly pleased with how it laid. Now some people love them.
I ended up buying a titanium side to replace it.
