21 Washer question.

Has anyone actually had to send in a sebenza 21 for washer replacement because they wore out (thinned) to the point that blade play would arise? Only asking because I saw it mentioned in a 21 vs 25 debate in another thread. Just curious. Thanks all!

No..Have never seen it.
The only reason I can think of this would happen is because 1) sanding the washer or 2) cycling the knife many 1000's of times. Even then, the washer material should not abrade that fast..even thinking about it, abrading would or should happen at the micron level when all mating surfaces should mate to each other pretty well. Polishing all surfaces being worn, abrasion should happen at a slower rate.
