Big Fighter and matching Tomahawk, inspired by 'The Patriot' brought into the Millenium by Steve Ryan. The knife is 15" overall, double ground with the top edge razor sharp 3/4 of the way back, made from 1/4" stock, and has carved micarta handles. The 'Hawk has front and back ends shaving sharp, mounted on milled aluminum shaft with carved micarta inlays for grips. Anyone seen the Redcoats around?

Seth- Those are beautiful !! That tomahawk would look great mounted on a wall, and that fixed blade is awesome !!!

Donald.

jbravo,

Is the Hawk chisel ground? Also, what would be the price on a piece like that?

Knives, Weapons and equipment. Best prices anywhere.

The 'Hawk is double ground on the front and back edges. The amount of effort to get all that right, along with the lower edge, on a piece that thick had to be huge.

I'm not competant to speak on the price, particularly since I'm not sure if he's making more than 3 of these, but my guess is in the just under $1,000 range.

jbravo,
Very very nice. Due to these pictures, I just mailed Steve Ryan for one of his catalogs. Are these models in the catalog?

jbravo, kinda off topic, but in one of your previous posts, you refered to Paragon Knives (a blade dealer in New York I think). Could you email me with their contact info (website? or Phone and Email)?

Great Pics above and thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Hi

Try www.paragonsports.com and click on "knives/tools". They have a wide selection of knives priced unreasonably.

You don't think he's trying to make a profit, do you?!?!?!?!?! I had heard the cost of living was high in New York.........

jbravo,
You weren't joking. A smidge on the high side!!!! But then again, things tend to be a little less expensive here in the sunny south (as we're under a winter storm warning). Thanks for the information anyway. Do you own any other Ryan's? How long is his wait (I've heard two years)?

Thanks for sharing the pics!!!
Chuck
