This Peacock thinks she is a Turkey









These where taken from my porch, they are about 250 yards away.

That one turkey looks a little 'festive". Always have to be one in the crowd . Haha

The 1st "Turkey" I ever shot was a "Peacock".! I was 16 and just moved from Dayton,Oh. to Tallahassee,Fl. and got permission to hunt on a very big Plantation there and they had some Peacocks that ran wild { and to make a long story short I saw a big ""Turkey"" and shot it out of a very tall Pine Tree and it hit an opening in a field and I ran it down and walked about 2 miles home with a wounded "Turkey"<<<<<"Peacock" and it did live plus I donated it to the Jr. Museum for Kids there in Tallahassee where it lived for years away from stupid kids with a Gun.! } (( Needless to say everybody thought this was very funny but me and I did not get a 'real Turkey' until I was 24 yrs. old and still hunt them to this day and I have never seen another Peacock in the woods.!**)) lol
