220 grit Norton waterstone

I've seen these mentioned in at least a couple of threads here, and since my better half was headed out today to shop just down the street from the Woodcraft store I had her pick one up for me. ($24.95 -- same as their web price, which is about 5 bucks cheaper than any of the other web sites I found it on.)

This material looks like a ringer for the material Ben Dale uses for the coarse EdgePro stones, and it leaves a similar finish. I'm sure if I were to ask Ben he'd give me an honest yea or nay, but I hate to bug him with frivolous questions since he's been so willing do devote time to answering the more 'important' questions I've put to him. So... does anyone here know?

Well, they're both aluminum oxide waterstones, as opposed to SiC. So they'll have essentially the same ingredients.
