*Got an email saying I got it, then another saying that someone else actually got it and an offer on a dhar handled ASTK. Not sure how that happened, but now I have a dhar ASTK on the way.

Months ago, my girlfriend bought me one to surprise me. I think of it mostly as a self-defense/tactical design. The weight is too far back due to the thick tang and light tip, which makes it very quick but not a great choper compared to, say, a 12" AK. That said, the Vojpuri would stab/pierce and slash (especially the swedge) better than the AK with its thick spine made for chopping.

Today's specimen is indeed very pretty so I got it as a present for a friend.
Hope he likes it too.
