My order is in, bought a few items for gifts and a few for the collection. A Blue powdercoat Packlite Skinner for $15 and a Pink Dymondwood 113 Skinner for $50 are cute. I was charged sales tax to Missouri for the very first time.... times are changing.....

I'm assuming it was one of a small run that was then put back and almost forgotten about. Likely not enough made that way to make it viable to market them.

I'm tempted by a few but want to get free shipping which I'm not sure I'm hitting yet.
 
The 110 is priced well. Is the only difference from the current model the color of the scales?
 
Thanks! I love when they do this. I restrained myself to the Cherrywood 113 Skinner, Factory Find and the EdgeTek Fishing FlipStik for my fishing vest. If the Stowaway Kit was still available, I would have ordered that too. I wanted more, but I was good... tomorrow is another day.
 
The resellers don't waste time. The Brown Dymondwood 110 is already on the Bay for almost 3X markup over Buck's website sale price. Interesting, put cheaper dyed birch handles on the knife instead of the standard Macassar Ebony veneer and it becomes a more valuable knife.... :confused:
 
The orange Bucklite Max shows at $16, but when you put it in your cart, it is $29 :confused:
 
The 113 Skinner was "Pink" when I ordered it. The description and picture has since been changed to Cherrywood. Wonder what I'll be receiving.

Dang, that was money I was not expecting to spend, but the order is in (a couple of harvest boning knives, blue capers, slimlines) and next time I won't be caught of guard by the sales. Thank you for posting this, I think :)
