23 years ago today I walked into the courthouse, married the women of my heart and haven't looked back since.

She's been with me through the good times and the bad times, she's my best friend and she has given me the greatest gift of my life,(next to her Love and devotion).

We toasted our commitment with my brother(one of the witness's/Best Man) and a bottle of Asti out of the trunk of my 73' Maverick in the parking lot of a gas station, we celebrated our honeymoon camping on the Deleware.

We didn't have squat when we started, we argued, she cried, we stuck it out through prosperity and poverty, still through it all I could never have imagined it being with anyone else.

She's my love, my reason for breathing, my reason for living, she brings out the best and the worst(mostly the best)in me, and sometimes the crazy in me, yet she's always been there by my side, a constant, something I could depend on, lean on when I needed a little strength, laugh with when reality seemed beyond belief.

I can only hope anyone in a relationship out there can be half as happy or lucky.

Well I'm off to dinner with my wife and daughter, and after that :) :) :).

Thaks for listening.

Congratulations!
My wife and I have been married for 11 years and I feel the same way about her.
I had a patient who died recently who was married for 54 years. His wife was with him when he passed.

congratulations, for me it is going on 16 years. Good to here some of us out here still believe in our vows.

Congratulations to both of you - it takes two to tango!

(This August it will be 34 years for me and whats-her-name. ;) )

Congrats, T. ! We made 26 years last April. Your comment about the 73 Maverick brought back some memories too. We had a 74 Mercury Comet back in da day ..

Best wishes to you for the upcoming years.
