Hello All!
I figured that I would let anyone who was interested have a reminder about the upcoming Lakeland Show.
It is Feb. 16-18 at the Lakeland Center in Lakeland, Florida. It is a knives only show with 168 tables. There will be makers, purveyors, suppliers, production knives old and new, and plenty of people to talk about knives with.
If I remember right it is $4.00 a day or $6.00 for all three(I'm not sure whether I remember this part right or not). Parking is free as long as you tell the parking attendants that you are there to attend the knife show. In the Florida area look in some of the local papers starting today for an ad about the show which will give you a buck off of entry. They are putting out ads in the Ocala area paper, I belive an Orlando paper and the Tampa Tribune.
The Lakeland Center is in Lakeland, Florida off of I-4. When coming from Tampa it is exit number 16. I'm not sure if it is the same exit number coming from the Orlando area or not. There are signs on I-4(small ones!) that state Lakeland Center, and signage after you get off that will lead you in the right direction fairly well, hopefully!
This is a nice show with a fair crowd every year, well worth a visit if you have the time. I look forward to maybe seeing some of you there.
Take care.
Andy
