Listen up you sissies. You say you are fans of the series '24'? But hah! I scoff at your fandom! I say you are limp wristed delliantes unless you have watched a whole series in one 24 hour sitting (actually it's less than 24 hours as you fast forward through each episide intro)

I'm tired, my eyes hurt, I've got a sore throat and a tight lower back - but eternal glory is mine!!:D

Actually - it's an interesting experience. The lame repetetive action/plot devices tend to become more apparent in one sitting. But the interpersonal drama seems way more powerfull, moving even. Either that or I could just be tired and emotional from lack of sleep.

Anyone else care to join my exclusive club?

Hey! I've actually been meaning to do that as some of my buddies and a cousin already did (they did it during the Holidays last year so they could stay-up all night if needed).

I want bragging rights too!!!!!!

It's not just about the glory and the chicks untamed.

We can only truly emphasise with Jack if we put ourselves through similiar punishment while watching the series. Next year I'm going to watch it while performing a stationary cycling marathon and have my mates come and beat me up once an hour. Only then will I truly know......

same here! for 24, i cannot tolerate 1ep/week, that's will simply kill me! so everytime, i waited and watched the whole season without stop! really fun experience..

* 24-24inc will not be held responsible for health problems arising from attempting to emulate the deeds of our heroic club members. 24-24ers are seasoned marathon TV professionals. We recomend a full medical examination before attempting to watch even 4-5 episodes of 24 back to back. Either that or tap your wrist with a ruler - if it remains limp then you are probably not ready to attempt 24-24.

An hour long TV show usually runs about 44 minutes without commercials, so in reality it only takes 18ish hours to watch every ep back to back with no interruptions. I'm not a big enough fan of 24 to try it, but I've done it with other shows in the past.

This post belongs over in the 24-18 forum. Now those guys are crazy:D

There is now an official badge for all 24-24ers

To be awarded this badge you have to complete one of two difficult assignments;

1) Watch an entire season of the TV show '24' in one 24-hour sitting or;

2) Lie and say you did.

I started to do the same thing, 24 episodes in 24 hours. But I couldn't get through the two back-to-back episodes of Jack sitting in a Washington DC traffic jam, the half-episode of him on the crapper, or the episode of him eating lunch.

1) Jack doesn't sit on the crapper - the crapper gets Jack.

2) Jack doesn't sit in traffic - he screams along the emergency lane at 100 MPH, while loading his Glock and talking to Cloe on his cell phone, having her download infra-red sattelite imagery that has been cross referenced with al Arab speaking people in the LA area who have visited a McDonalds in the last 4 hours - direct to his PDA

3) Jack don't eat.
