My first post in bladeforums here.

.
Currently in France.Picked up a special"Laguiole".Actually this should be recognized as a "shop-made" piece, since I didn't work with its maker for designing.
This is made by a workshop called "Benoit l'Artisan"
And this model is called"Tribal Chasse"(Tribal hunting knife,I guess?).Looks like an innovation based on traditional Laguioles.
Some features of Laguioles could be found on this one.
Line lock, stag handle, the whole knife is in 12C27
As can be seen from the back ,handle scales and file works are not symmetric. Denfinately handmade.
Tight assembled parts and shiny polished exterior, blade in centre. Neat job there.
The frame is sturdy ,however, the lock seems a bit weak, and the thickness of the blade is not so satisfying.Nevertheless,I will never use this as my working knife.
The interior is not worked. When touching the rough surface occasionally,it feels somewhat unpleasant.
No accessable screws.Hard to clean.
Personally,I consider it an inexpensive knife for collection.
