I got my 25' Chit today, and I took some bad pics (all I have is a $19.99 web cam) but just decided to fling them up anway:

Long shot.

Handel close-up.

First let me say it's one of the most well made hand-bulit sword/knife I've handeled;it is also the most over-bulit sword/knife I've ever picked up! it came with a good edge, but man you could kill with the spine alone!! :D
it smells more like a gun then any knife I've sniffed too-nice!

Now if it stops snowing I'll go out and whack some branches off one of the local trees....hope I don't knock the bloody tree over! :D

Nice big Chitlangi Krull ! What's the weight and how'd it feel? Been drooling for a Chit ! But a 18" one.

Nice. Don't go scarin the day care kids.

It's listed as 36 ounce Astrodada, and I'd say it's mostly in the blade! It stopped snowing a bit so I went to whack a few branches...went slow so as to get used to it,well branches don't mean much to this beast! :D finally just chopped down a small (about an inch) tree this thing acts more like a ax then a sword!

It's off-and-on up here hollowdweller...trying to melt, prob be in the 60' tomorrow! crazy weather!!

Nice blade, Krull. Snow flurries this morning in DC Metro, but here,
1/2 way to richmond just clouds and a cold wind.
It was darn near 60 here yesterday, and prob closer to 40 today.
VA weather is wierd.

I've been looking this hunk of knife work over for a few hours now and I must say I'm beyond impressed, the work is smooth and well done;I'll refinsh the handel when it get's warm something simple as it will be carryed on my walks through the woods and hills;the front half needs slimming as it's a bit fat but that will be fun :D

Lastly I'm blown away by the scabbard! I've got some Windlass swords and two of their khuks, the sword scabbards are fine and functional;the khuks were-to be nice-junk :thumbdn: but the HI is amazing! whoever did this is great!

Someone tell the Kamis they are in a class by themselves!

My Ruger M77 .223 is going to the gunsmith next month (been working-with detours-since last summer :D ) after that I get a dig camera, after all I wanna make my first knife-a karda with a pukko blade :D

I used the Chitlangi to cut down a tree when I first got it, as a test. I think the tree was about 8" in diameter. The Malla seems more of a fighter to me.

Well munk said that in another Chit thread, and looking at the half-inch thick base on mine I decided to go ahead and give my new little friend a test....

Walking into our hills I hunted around a bit and smacked a few 1 to 2 inch branches, quickly noting the beast's habit of making clean cuts!! like it did on day one (those Kami's sure put a "magic" just right edge on it ;) )
after awhile I found a approx 4 inch tree that could stand being lopped out of a bunch of smaller ones.

I layed into this tree like I'm used to,just letting the weight of the Chit do it's thing...and boy did it! I sunk it deep enough on the first blow to need two hands to get'er out! Y-IKES! then I just waled away on the poor thing :D

In the end it went like this:tree-0 Khuk-10 sorry but I mudered the tree 'cos it had no chance;the khuk didn't loosen up at all and held up well;I give HI products an A+

Me? well now I havn't swung a big blade or ax for a good year, and my other Windlass khuk got me huffing and puffing long before this one did, however I was a bit sore and stiff-armed but happy...I've found my new woods sword and chopper!! :D
I'll still get other khuks (those 9-inch DOTD are drivein'me nuts!) and whatever else those Kami's dream up..bet on it! ;)
