Made by master kami Bura. The fit & finish are stunning and the balance is simply exquisite.

Actual length is 26" exactly with about 19.25" of that being blade. The blade is just a hair under 1/2" thick at the bolster and nearly 2" wide.

Of course it passed my durability test with flying colors.

Arrival time: 4 days. Not the record, but still very very quick.

Thank you very much Yangdu! I love it!

Wolf that's pretty Chit!!!! ;) :D Out of all the kukris I have my 21"+ Chitlangi is and always will be one of my favorites!
I love light kukris that cut like a much heavier one!  :D

Unless the kamis innovate something really astounding, Chitlangis are my favorite. I love everything about the chitlangi design; I love the handle style, I love the beautifully fullered and gracefully curved blade. The chitlangi doesnt have the Ang Khola bulk, but it has more cleaving power than the Sirupati.

I had mused for months about requesting something special made for me, but I looked within and decided I wouldn't like it as much as a 25" Chitlangi khukuri 'sword'.

And I was right.

The pictures do not do the satisal handle justice. It's mostly straight grain and deep blood red.

The edge bevels are flawlessly perfect and slightly convex.

Even though the blade is slightly wider than that of my 25" Sirupati, this big chitlangi is very graceful in the hand due to its amazing balance.

Bura is an artist.

Good news, thank you for the nice picture

Pretty! Love seeing when people bring out the good chit.

It is VERY well-balanced, but still blade-heavy like any khukuri.

And it cuts like a guillotine.

Most of my khuks are chits. I love the style. You have a beautiful one there.
