Hello all, been some time since Ive posted...Still visit on a regular basis, just dont join in as much.

Meant to let you all know about this some time ago, but I dont think its too late yet.

SMKW has the Gerber Walker G-10 50/50 edge knives for $25.00, the catch is...You need to call SMKW then ask to be connected to their showroom. The ones they are selling are buy outs.

My brother in law went down in Aug and came back with one, I called and ordered a few myself. I thought it may be too late to post about these but I just went down to SMKW just a few weeks ago and they still had them. They also had the 400 seriers Multi-tool with tool kit for $25.00

The dealer cost on these knives were $80.00 when they came out...So if you can get one its a good deal.

I called SMKW this afternoon and they said that someone had come in earlier today and cleaned the Gerber Walkers out!:(
That would have been a great price . . . too good to pass up!
 
Missed opportunities are frustrating.

Fiskars (Gerber's parent co.) has a couple of offices near me and they just had a clearance sale of old merchandise that, I suppose, has been gathering dust in their storerooms or warehouses. I was out of town the days of the sale and found out later there were some incredible deals on discontinued knives, including a few Mark II's.

Man, was I disappointed.
 
I just got one in. let me tell you that they are a real bargain at that price. I think I just may use this one as my beater. :D
