I wouldn't have the skill to pull it off, but I was playing with paper and scissors on a one-piece micarta inlay that I think would be pretty cool on the 25. Almost tempted to find someone to make it a reality. I wonder if it would be possible to "dish" the underside of the inlay (overlay) to allow space for the VHB tape and pull it snug to the Ti without cutting the Ti. Here's my paper mockup:

I think I like the looks of that! You might be on to something. Kind of reminds me of the annual sebenza inlays.

I think you may know someone that knows a thing or 2 about working handle material.;)

I like the idea of milling out the back side of the scale to make room for the tape yet keep the edges flush with the slabs.

It was just a quickie. I actually just photocopied the 25 at a 90% scale (10% reduction) and cut it out with scissors then contoured the ends. I think it would actually feel great too in real life.

Carbon fiber inlay would look great too just like that too.. My only meager suggestion would be to extend the back just a smidge so the inlay is closer to the back screw so it looks a little more proportional with how close the front of the inlay is with the stop pin screw and pivot. Just my OCD kicking in, but looks great anyway

You are right, that would look better.

Its OK. Yours looks better than what is currently on the seb 25. Not a fan of inlays on a working knife tho.
