Bako, I have two of Daniel's so called right handed knives and they cut left handed just fine. Just a small back bevel is all us lefties need

I was cutting some cardboard the other day testing edge geometry and did not realize I was using a left hand grind Backpacker! With the back bevel they cut either way.

On these really thick ones a back bevel still works but it is nice to have them ground on the correct side for slicing. For utility or self defense it doesn't really matter.


I do need a spine shot, they all came out blurry... it is crazy thick! I'll try for one tomorrow.

Spine shot! Only a little blurry. You can see how a cord wrap is really grippy and ergonomic.

FBC, I know the microbevel knives cut almost exactly like a proper lefty chisel, but after getting my lefty 'dashi I'm sold on lefty grinds! I've also got a lefty chisel tanto I like a lot, too.
