25 vs Inkosi value

i see a few places still have the odd 25 still available to purchase. Right now the 25’s sell at a small discount vs an Inkosi with most dealers.

In terms of value down the road in say 10-15 years does anyone think the 25 will sell at a premium over a similar Inkosi? If so do you think it would be enough of a difference to seek out a 25 specifically if you are in the market for a 25/Inkosi model now and don’t have a real preference or see any meaningful benefit in one over the other?

I think a hand full of collectors might want a 25 one day just for being rare. I'd just buy the Inkosi because it's a better knife.

That's difficult to predict. I can see something like the carbon fiber inlays bringing a premium price later on or one of the Damascus being desirable down the road but that's about it. IMO, the plain janes might fetch original prices later on, but nothing like what you see on some of the regulars or hard to find CCG's/Uniques.

I would want the 25. I like the bushings better and it doesn’t have a crooked pocket clip. Pretty much any discontinued CRK goes up in value, some very little while some go up thousands. Since the 25 is Very close to the Inkosi, I don’t see it going up much.

Good luck predicting the future. Personally, but what you like because your wife may end up selling it at a garage sale for $5 anyway.
