252 Million $$ .... Any Knife You Want??

The Texas Rangers announced this evening that the club has agreed to terms with free agent shortstop Alex Rodriguez on a ten-year, 252 million-dollar contract extending through the 2010 season. Quoted off the press box at: Texas Rangers Home

Dang, to think that there isn't a knife out there that I couldn't buy with that kind of cash flow!

No kidding. A-Rod was one of our Mariners. Good riddance...

Dang, with THAT kind of money, I could buy the Cold Steel Company from Lynn Thompson, and REALLY have some fun!.

Yeah, and the thing that gets me is that he said that the money wasn't the issue... he wanted to play for a winner.

Well maybe I missed the point here, but I watched our beloved Mariners finish about 20 games ahead of the Rangers this season. Not the money eh?

Oh well, it's his life. Maybe he's got a Herman Sliver on order or something. Might have a need for that kind of cash.

If he wanted to play for a winner, it should have been for the Cleveland Indians!

Wait a minute, the Cleveland Indians don't have that kind of cash for the whole team let alone for one man!

One of you custom knife makers ought to contact Alex .... sell him a one of a kind knife and you name the price!

I think that on some superficial level A-rod probably really does want to play for a winner. Luckily though, his agent, Satan Boras, was able to remind him of what is truly important in sports today-- $$$$$$$$$$.
