I've seen this thing in the 2012 catalog next to the Camp 10, and have been looking around for it. Is it still not released?

It resembles closely the Bahco saw I've been using, but it seems to be slightly smaller. Is there info on this? Release info? Or was it scrapped... I sure hope not, I was really, really looking forward to picking one up. The folding saw is a mainstay on my camping trips, and having a Kershaw would be pretty epic now that the 0550 is taking the place of my camp knife.

By the way... I'm going to check out the Camp blades and see if they can push the Hoodlum out of my pack. :D:thumbup:

I just got a picture of this Kershaw Taskmaster Saw on my facebook page today. It looks very interesting. I wonder what they mean by "push button lock"

They must still be planning on releasing this soon.

Push button lock basically means there is a button that you press to release the lock and fold the blade. The kershaw autos had them (breakout and rogue) and the upcoming kershaw dimension does too.

First I've seen of this . I hope its released before hunting season. I defiantly want one.

How would you go about sharpening something like that? I have an old antique of similar design that my grandfather owned. The handle was wood and it had a thumbscrew to hold the blade open.

It means a push button lock, like on a Hogue knife. The blade locks closed, to open it push the button. When open the blade locks, and closing it requires a press of the button again. Simple. ;)
