I just picked this one up and I'd like to know what the anniversary is. I thought that the 110 was developed and went into production later than 1961, so it has me puzzled.

I think that is when the folding hunter 110 was introduced, I am not 100% sure on that so don't quote me on that. I can remember when my dad bought one in 1964 and they were just getting popular, and he still has thet old knife I can't seem to talk him out of it.

I found this in the time line. I know I saw on the BCCI website that production of the 110 started in '64, but I can't locate that again. Bucks own website says '63.

Plumber,That has thrown me a curve as well when I first saw them. The 110 went on the drawing board in 63 and out the factory in 64.Nice knife but produced confusing data.DM

no not as confusing as the 112 story!!!
the 112 was a two liner
but when the 110 hit its 25 year
some one in advertising assumed that the 112 was jest as old
so you see a 25th year etch on a knife that was only about 15 years old !!!
what a fopaw!!

The electroetched 25 Year 112 was issued the same year as the 110 25 year so go figure. The 112 was first produced about 10 years after the 110!

Sorry Dave, I didn't read your post.

Well then I guess my Dad bought one of the first ones out, that explains why when I ask him for it he tells me I am crazy
