Good morning! I was shocked to see that no one bid on the 25th anniversary sterling silver and smooth bone 1984 manufactured Schrade 34 OT, new in box, with papers, pouch, the whole nine yards. I didn't want it; I don't care for the smaller knives, but I can't believe no one took it for $99. Last year I think one went for more than $300. Somebody should do a completed listing search and ring that fellow up and make an offer. Meanwhile, it is four below zero in northern Wyoming, and I am curled up around the coffee pot. Have a great day, Schradeites.:)

I was tempted, but with Christmas around the corner.... I have two of them in unfinished condition with the slab sides and no shields, but not a finished one. I don't remember one going for as much as you do, but it wouldn't surprise me if two people wanted it. Ebay really baffles me at times. I got an unused (it did have a couple pepper spots on the back of the main blade, but very small) SC206 with the raccoon scrim artwork the other day for under $12. The next day, the same knife, in the same condition, with the pepper spots, went for close to $50.

I didn't see it, but I have one and paid about $25 or $30 for it.

I have three already including 001, so i passed hoping someone else would grab it, really a beautiful little knife, happy collecting,G.M

I contacted and offered him $75. He said Thanks for the offer, but he;s not ready to let it go for that right now. I see it is now relisted. May still have to bite....

. . . but I can't believe no one took it for $99. Last year I think one went for more than $300. . .

I remember that one and another that went close to the same. I need that one for my collection, but as it has been said, hollidays around the corner :grumpy:. Oh well, I always catch a little change from the folks so who knows, maybe this year :D. Have fun with all of your collecting and if I don't post something beforehand, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. (I really don't post often so this isn't as premature as it sounds!)

I had that one in my watch box, let it end w/o a bid to see if he would relist it lower than $99.
Relisted at the same $.
Also I noticed during second read through he mentions a missing hinge on the box.
Might be a challenge finding an original... or duplicates the holes would line up the same.
I have two complete 34SA including outer cardboard box and have seen a few other 100% complete go in the $99 range.
I paid a hundred for my first one but it was absolutely pristine, 100% complete, and had 18 bids. (3/29/06)
I kept records of a few auction results that were higher:
$202 1/11/07
$165 9/6/07
$170 4/30/06
I have one I bought loose for about $30.
Been tempted a few times to start toting it but I have resisted so far.

I do agree, you never know what will happen in the 'Bay.
I was glad to see this latest one show up at least,
been awhile since i've seen any 34SA offered.
