For those who own either or both NMFBMs, which is the better chopper? I just purchased a .28 thick coated NMFBM, but other members have mentioned the .25 chops better because it bites deeper and its lighter. I used my .28 NMFBM and it was chopping through 4 inch logs w/o a problem, but the weight did wear me out after a while.
I added photos of my NMFBM machine magnum handle, which was sanded down due to the blister it caused on my hand, pic added. I also put the NMFBM together with my BWM to show the comparison in size. Sheath on BWM was made by AZTimt. The other knives depicted was the SAR 3 and a Chris Reeve Mountaineer 1. This is my high end collection of knives, which should carry me for a while. The NMFBM chops like a pro and the BWM also slices and chops branches with ease. I'm happy with all my knives.
