I would like to see some pics of #28 LE's...
Particularly the MUK... How was it configured? Who ended up with it?
Other model's?
 
#13 is sacred who doesn't want one (or more)... I would also take any 666 or 999, but the 28 is a little more significant personally, my bday is 28 and my daughter was born 28 years and 28 days later, and my sons bday is the 14th which is half of 28... I have settled on making that my grail number for collecting and wanted to see what kind of combos there have been historically... Thanks for everything!
 
I hear that 28s like to stay hidden, at least mine does... :D

Jaxx, sweet pic! Are those white or satin? Great run! Your collection must be killer! 27 #27's... I have one RS and some other stuff that seems flimsy to me now...Will post pics when I get rid of the lazy bug and actually take some... but I don't even have one Busse yet (not for lack of trying, just lack of convincing the wife I need a 300-500+ knife now, lol)
Slaimd, there are several for sale on the forum that I have noticed for fairly reasonable prices (IMO) Good luck finding the one you are looking for tho!

I think I might have Muk #28. I'll check when I get home. It's either that or #24. Either way, it's Black/Red G10.

This is probably sacrilege, but what's the big deal about #28, other than NewbKnife's personal reasons I mean?

Typically, all Busse LE's (numbered models) are Satin finished. However, I think there may be a model or two of the older Ergo line with coated numbered blades. One of the HOG's who've been around here longer may be able to confirm that.

Sheldon, I thought they were satin but are just so bright in the pic I wasn't sure. Awesome pic btw!

Yeah, they're satin and the pic was a PITA to take. Had to use indoor lighting to help the flash, and the image captured a lot of yellow on the blades, which I stripped out with Adobe Lightroom. :)

Well, for awhile I was going for 28. I got inducted in 2008, and I also figured it had to be good since it was 1 better than Jaxx;);):D:D
