I just got my custom NMFBM. 1lb, 15.25oz.
What makes it custom? It's got hand-shaped scales and is double cut, but the rest is in the blade.
Slight recurve, an unsharpened swedge on a big clipped point, and the Team Gemini-style choil.
I'm pretty happy with it. I need to take it out and feed it some wood.
Dwayne from Armoralleather also gave it a nice drum-rolled leather sheath . Smells good, like a new leather jacket. Feels soft and pliable but still tough. It's light for its size.
Just a small annoyance of mine, but it's always bugged me that logos are on the left side of knives. It makes that feel like the "front" to me, but when I carry them right-handed, the "back" of the knife ends up facing outward. What can I say: You can tell the size of a man by the size of things that bother him. Well that's not anything good... okay. Hope you like looking at this.
