Hi, As I was making this knife I realized it's been 2 years this month since I made my first knife, and this is folder #22 and knife #23 all together. High production, one a month!!, can't believe it's been 2 years already.

3 5/8" clay hardened, etched and light polish 1095
Blackened and polished O1 bolsters
Stabilized Amboyna burl scales
8 1/2" o.a. length

Thanks for looking, Dave

Not only a really beautiful knife, but such a pleasant change from the 'tactical' scene!!! :D

that is really great! I have been "working at" knife making off and on for 1 year or so and I am NO where near that beauty! Great job!

Paul

Thanks Michael, I've started to make a tactical knife a couple of times but they never end up very tactical looking :) I am going to try one someday.

Thanks Paul, I didn't know you make knives. I haven't really even started selling my knives yet but if I can be of any help with your making, just let me know.

I remember when you first came here with your knives, and you were worried that they were inadequate and that you didn't have any kind of a unique style. Well Dave, I was stunned with your first offerings, and I have liked almost everything you have posted since. You definately have your own style, and it is one that I really like. You have had a few funky blade profiles that haven't tripped MY trigger, but I am sure others go ga-ga over them. I have liked every one of your handles and bolsters combos. (I seem to remember a funky green one though... ;) ) Over all, I think you are doing great and I'd like to have one of your knives one day.
Congrats on your anniversary!

Thanks Mongo, it's really good to hear from you again, hope all is well.
I still feel the same way about my knives, maybe a little better :) There's no way I'm going to stop though, I'm hooked and I enjoy making 'em too much.
My wife still loves her funky green :p
If you're interested, I'll send you one of my knives for evaluation, kind of a mini passaround
