Just got my second Buck! (No, hunting season's over:( ) A friend GAVE me a brand new model 500. Seems his inlaws were moving and his Father-in-law gave him a bunch of knives, some duplicates. He comes in and hands me this 500. Beautiful knife, very tight and solid. A little bigger and heavier than what I like to carry, but I'm not complaining!! Great job, Buck!

The 500 is a GREAT knife !!! :D

I like to carry mine as it is bigger than a "pocket knife" yet not as big as a 110. One of those that I wear when I'm going out dressed just a little better then my everyday jeans, but not in suit and tie mode. The slimer design just feels good in the hand as well...

You might want to make sure you hold on to this one as it has been discontunied and Buck is no longer making them in general production. :grumpy:

Not Really AMAZING... But interesting!!!

Consider how many different styles of knives are out there, then consider the different ways to carry them, and in reality you could have a different combination for every, "different" occasion. And that's just with BUCK knives....:D

When you add in the different makers, and customizers, the possibilities are endless. Just check out some of the threads in Blade Disccussions, or the Community forms about "How to you carry..." or "Favorite Position..." :rolleyes:
