Picked this SAR 3 Nuclear Meltdown up today at the gun show. Bought it for a song. Couldn't resist at 225.

Secondly, shame on you Jerry Busse. You've managed to create another addicted fan of your knives. Thank God I have a son about to start college or I would have a half dozen or more.

SOB makes an awesome hunting knife. SAR 3 will make an awesome camp/bushcraft knife. Next, a big chopper. :D

Very nice compliment to the Busse SOB I already had (My first Busse).

Next step is wrap some Hale Storm Custom Kydex around it, head to the woods, and use the hell out of it. Should make a great slicer for camp chores.

Yes. The HGCA show. They only have two per year now and they have the next one in September. I plan to have a table there for that one with my kydex work. We have gun shows here every weekend between Houston and several outlying cities but this show is the only one where you can find multiple blades in one place. I saw a couple Busse's, over a hundred Randalls at different tables, and Dawson was even there with a table. Usually I can find one or two Busse's at a few dealers.

Wow. 665 posts. Doesn't seem like I was anywhere close to that number. BF is an addiction on a grand scale as well. Never met a better group of people. I guess I'm no longer the casual observer anymore. :D

I didn't see a single Busse at that show. I guess I wasn't looking hard enough.

I have taken up Meth as I think it is actually less addicitve and cheaper than Busse....... ;)
 
Those are some great looking knives! I have always liked the look of black paper micarta with a satin finished blade.
 
Perhaps you are correct, Andy. I just purchased my seventh ASH...;-)
 
Two great blades you've got there ! Excellent start ! After these two I'd stop counting, cause one turns to two, two becomes four, four equals eight, eight is WOW REALLY :eek::eek::confused::D

I locked in my third blade three days after I received my first. I'll stop counting now. I'll just go crazy asking myself why I need more....:cool:
