That should have been UBDOTDs.

If you weren't fast enough to nail these the first time, here's your second chance.

That was a nice GS. Is it just me, but have the rest of you guys noticed that there seems to be less edge to a khuk now that the kamis are making them with habaki bolsters?

Yup, that's it. The area from the beginning of the habaki to the beginning of the cho on present BirGorkha khukuris are 2-3 times longer than the ones on my Shop 1 toys. They're also much longer than the khukuris in John Powell's collection. I think Berkeley called it a cho creep.

Butter lamp kami? That is a new one to me. Cho creep, butter lamp, UBDOTD, HIKV. I think we are forming our own slang, lingo. I think I will start calling people "cho creep" as opposed to just a creep, and see what happens. Cho creep, it has a nice ring to it, it flows out of the mouth well. I have been thinking of changeing my user ID to something more interesting. Cho Creep might work well.

rkenny,
The butterlamp kami, is also known as "The kami with no name." I prefer the latter, Uncle Bill. You know, it just has a ring to it, like the old Clint Eastwood, spagetti westerns. The Man Without a Face.

The butterlamp kami just doesn't convey the same level of autority. IMHO.

Maybe, the sarki without a name is just broadening his horizons.
