A Villager Chitlangi! I don't recall seeing one of those before. Talk about taking a great model and turning it into a real user.

I'm already getting something else, but would much rather have this than my 18" Villager AK. I like the Chitlangi blade much better. Yes, the grip could have a larger bell, but that's probably because of the piece of horn they had to work with...

WOW. Those YCS kardas are SWEET!!!! I can resist... I can do it...

ugh not easy...

The Salyan is outstanding. If only my wife would like a khuk for Christmas!

BTW, I'm sure there's a story behind the Kami's supply of Montana elk antler. Can anyone enlighten us?

beautiful
offerings as always

I keep my eyes open for a chitlangi with a bell-grip
if it grabs me otherwise
it's gone :D

somehow the non-bell-butt-grip
doesn't appeal to me as much on a chitlangi
but I do luvs the fullers

Dear Auntie-I e-mailed you for the Sarge knife last month & sent the paypal, the same
day.You e-mailed me that you sold mine to some-one else,by mistake, and mine would
be on the next shipment of the Sarge.Since this is paid for,can i get this one?

You guys are trying to kill me leaving that chitlangi there as long as you did... I just couldn't let it slip by.

Hi McD !!!

Darn, I actually had to work through lunch and missed this by 2 hours  :D

I would have sharked up the Chitlangi real fast..

If anyone wants a Pen Knife and doesn't yet have one, this one today, well.... here's 3 reasons why you should:

"12 inch 10 ounce villager Pen Knife by Bura. Himalayan hot pepper wood handle. $65 delivered."

1. Villager- good. No brass to polish and most likely sharp.
2. That pepper wood is awesome. Some fancy wood khuks are coming unfinished, something nobody has mentioned. That's why this one might look a little plain in this pic. My hot pepper 18" AK last month was completely unfinished... a little Ballistol, and what rich beauty came out.
3. Bura. Nuff said.

I would send for this in a hearbeat but I already have 2 PK's, so here's a 2nd chance for soooomebody.....

ya know, my brother in law needs an xmas gift.... not that one... one of mine... the brass one.... hmmm.....

I hope more of the Villager Chitalangi's show up. I'd love to have one.

I also love those scrolled butt caps.

So nice I want to see it twice! Good thing I was not home today, this one would have gotten me into trouble.

Are we getting jaded or something...

I just noticed that YCS Karda there - 14" 15 oz. I figured what the heck, it probably won't be there (thinking Yangdu just hadn't posted yet). Lo and behold, I got a confirmation on it.

15 oz. - the heaviest 14" I've seen (mine is 10 oz. and I saw another at 14 oz.)
Black sheath
Carved handle
Made by kumar (who in my limited experience makes the best knives - though Amtrak kami makes a nice trisul)

Is it just Christmas tightening purse strings? If so, that 'little' 10" will make a beautiful gift for anyone.

My efforts at self-control are failing miserably, I was hoping just waiting would curb the worst of it. Good thing I'm trying to lose weight. :) Time to work on my enabling skills...
