2nd gen ranger

Yes and no...

I am waiting for permission to announce an extremely confidential project, in which American Tomahawk has collaborated with a company I regard as the leader in Tactical bladeware...upon approval, I will make the announcement, which has bearing on our Next Generation Ranger.

The model is planned for debut at SHOT SHOW, but I am seeking permission to develop "buzz" before that time, here on our forums.

Stick around! :D

Wow, talk about building suspense...
Guess I gotta make room on the counter for a third hawk, now.
I am curious as to whom you refer to, as the premier knifemaker. After handling your products, which I feel are second to none, they have got to be pretty good to meet the standards your company sets.

Does anyone want to take a guess who the other company is? How about tops knives, strider, busse? It's really hard to say.

i think it's strider, no doubt. busse doesn't seem to do collabs. tops maybe but they're not "industry leading" so to speak. strider does collabs (like with buck, tarani, etc.) and they are quite popular, enough to be the no. 1 tactical knife maker, etc.

...all well-known and respected names...but nobody's nailed it.

This person and his work forever changed the face of the tactical knife world...and everybody followed him as he led the way.

If somebody guesses, I won't be able to confirm until I have approval, so don't be surprised if it takes a few days for me to jump back on here and scream it from the rooftop!

Keep guessin' though...this is fun!

i always considered Bob Terzuola, Pat Crawford, and Ernest Emerson the first of the tactical blade makers

Bob Terzuola was the first, with his folders, and, he did recently start up a little company...
Chris Reeve has also been around awhile, and his stuff is pretty hard to beat.
I must admit that Strider was the first to come to mind.
