This is my second knife and sheath made from scratch. What do you guys think ?

It's hand stiched with artificial sinew from 9-10 oz leather with buckskin inlay and scroll tooling accenting the front and covering the back.

Thanks for the nice words guys they are really appreciated.

Sandy,
Yes I've been doing my best to remember everything Dave tells me. He has taught me so much already but I really enjoy every minute. I'm alot more comfortable trying out new things like inlays having him around to pester with rookie questions all the time. Thought you might like to know he is sharing his knowledge with another generation and passing on some of the things you taught him. My son is 13 months and hopefully he'll have an interest so I'll be able to keep the tradition going and pass along the things that I'm learing

Thanks for the compliment -Josh

and love the contrast between the leathers very dramatic, kinda reminds me of a glass of guinness, great now i'm thirsty:thumbup:
really nice work
