Here is my 2nd San Mai blade (approximately my 20th blade in total).
OAL 14” Core of 1084 and 15N20 jacket. Dry welded by hand. Guard and pommel are wrought(first time using and really dig it). I welded a threaded rod to the tang and tapped the pommel as well as using GFlex Epoxy. Handle is stacked Ebony and leather.

Thanks, it’s the largest knife I’ve made so far and it feels the best in hand.

Very cool, looks professional to me. The handle is unique and well thought out. I like the black on the blade. (I was going to joking say whats all that sharpie on the blade but I was afraid you might throw something at me;)) Are you going leather or kydex? I'm guessing leather? Maybe a combo sheath would fit the uniqueness of it? Looking forward to the next one.

My leather work is quite basic but this one deserves a decent sheath. I should have enough of the same leather I used in the handle.
