I just got in my new Pacific Salt and it is an impressive knife. Fit and finish is very well done. It has a solid lockup with no blade play at all. Also, I knew and read the specs before I got it but the pictures you see around the internet just dont do it justice. It is one really large folder. I tested out the sharpness and it is hair popping sharp out of the box.

My other Spydie is a Tenacious that I love. Now I've got to start deciding on which Spyderco to buy next.

I recommend the Paramilitary 2. I always thought Spyderco knives were ugly so I never gave them a shot. Then I bought the tenacious and fell in love with it and the company. Now I always have the Paramilitary 2 on me. It's just a perfect size and the compression lock is something else! I love a knife I can close as fast as I can open. Combine that with CPM S30V and I'll take two!:)

Also look at the Manix 2, even though their are major differences I always considered it the higher end tenacious. I recommend if you get one however to get one of the sprint run versions with the FFG. I bought the regular production version and just thought it was too heavy. I also didn't care for the hollow grind. Then I got a blue manix 2 and it was absolutely perfect. The skeletonized liners go along way.
