Very nicely done on the taper. Are these coming together on the passaround, or are you going to divide the passaround into 2 groups? How about some thumb ramps grooves on the ironwood?

Can't promise how much testing I'll do of the ironwood, I just have a hard time risking messing up something that purty. Course, some one may ding it up before I get it....
 
No thumbgrooves on the ironwood...wanted it clean-n-simple. I left a spot "un-deburred" on the spine for striking firesteel (where the thumbgrooves would have been).


And YES - BOTH are going, WITH the sheath on the passaround. :D :thumbup:


Looking for compare/contrast reviews...so, just 1 group.

That is insane! You guys in the passaround are lucky bastids! Wow, I can't wait until you start taking orders on the Bushmaster, looks like such a perfect knife.

Provided they withstand testing and the woes of being passed around....and, should they escape the dust bunnies...they might mysteriously become available. :eek:
 
I saw the passaround thread early enough to get in on it, but in about 3 weeks, I am going to be out of town for about 12 weeks on a job-related assignment and didn't feel like I'd be able to participate.:(

Still, this looks like it will be a great knife and passaround and I look forward to seeing and hearing the reviews.

I would have loved to have been involved in this pass around...... but winter is over [almost] and work begins again in earnest.

No time for me to do the pass around justice.....:(
