2nd try on Pics Fixed Blade EDC

You successfully linked to your pictures, but it's much easier for everyone to see them if you post them so they are displayed on Bladeforums. If you copy a picture's url (the http://www.whatevercomesnext...) then click on the box that's yellow and has mountains and a sun (
insertimage.gif
)-at the top of the Message box. You will open up another box where you can paste in the url. Then your image will display right in your thread, as below.

Thanks, that is I attempted to do. I went into photobucket and cut and pasted the PhotoBucket URL Link onto the body of the BladeForum post. I expected a thumbnail to be displayed, but instead only the link was displayed. i went into the edit message routine but couldn't figure out how to get the thumbnails to be displayed instead of the links. Dis i miss something or miss a step.

I just tried it again. I opened up a new thread; then clicked on the "Insert Image" icon, then pasted the Photobucket URL Link into the window that opened, then clicked OK. But again, only the link was displayed.
I am still clueless.
I will add I post pictures fairly often in other forums with little problems.

Don, Photobucket makes things very easy. When you look at the page that shows thumbnails of your images you should see three web addresses for each picture posted below the image. (Here's a link to one of my Photobucket pages)
  1. URL Link
  2. HTML Tag
  3. IMG code
If you copy the info on the line after IMG code, you can paste that directly into the text box where you post your BladeForums messages. That's all there is to it.

Thanks for your help; I was using the URL link instead of the IMG Code. I did a test post it worked great.
