How does the 3.0 compare to the small Sebenza in terms of length, weight, and general ergonomics?

It's also my impression that the 3.0 is a lot harder to find than the 3.5. Is that accurate?

You mean XM-18? the 3" is very similar to the small sebenza, IMO, as well as the mini-Grip. I own all. The advantage of the XM-18 is the ability to easily change scales. Here is my 3":

My apologies. Yes, I was referring to the XM-18.

I have a Small Sebenza and love it. Also fairly small hands. I did not like the XM-18 3.5 because it was too big and too heavy. On further research, I came upon the 3.0 model of the same knife, and was wondering if that might fit better. Your thoughts?

Also, all the dealers seem to be advertising CM-18 3.5, with the 3.0 harder to find. Is that impression accurate?

I see quite a few of both blade-lengths here on the Exchange. The only thing that seems to be harder to find is the 3.5" in the slicer-grind. Lots of Spanto grinds around.
I've had both the 3" in slicer-grind and the 3.5" in Spanto. Sold them both.
The 3.5" was too heavy and too heavy-duty for my casual EDC.
The 3" XM-18 was okay, but it's too short for my large hands, just like the small Sebbie.
I think I'd rather carry a small Sebbie than the Hinderer. I've had many Sebbies, in both small and large, but only carry the large.

Yes the 3" is hard to come by. When ever they pop Up they sell quick. Most people are always after the smaller knives for EDC purposes. Every time there is a Hinderer Lottery the 3" are the first to go. I my self found the size of a Hinderer to be deceiving in size from looking at pictures online. I finally got my hands on a 3" and it was tiny so i now carry a 3.5" and it is not heavy for me at all.

I'll post some side by sides of my small Insingo and 3" spanto flipper. Hold on
