Hi everyone, I just recently discovered the joys of finding, fixing up, and using older or used axes!

I was at an antique store the next town over from me this weekend and i found a Mann Knotklipper, and a 3 pound snow & nealley (with a pin through the head, is that bad? still new at this lol)

Anyways there was another axe, I took a few pictures but i didnt grab it just because i didnt want to clear the place out of all the axes and i didnt know much about it. If anyone knows this mark any info would be great!

That is a council tool stamp, looks like it it's a jersey pattern head. I have a boys axe (2.5 lb head 28" handle) that I'm very happy with. I'd pick up that jersey if they were asking a good price. Hope that helps.

they are all under $8 each, I' ll have to go pick it up next weekend! Thanks for quick responses guys I'm glad I found the bladeforum im looking forward to learning much more about axes :)

Hop on that like a duck on a June bug!

Ducks go after June bugs? Doesn't surprise me that they're adaptable but when they're entirely out of water poking around on manicured lawns that's when foxes and coyotes suddenly start becoming fat.

ducks are one of the best tick eradicators there are... IIRC second only to guinea fowl... who also kill snakes like they are gummy worms.
