Well...I found a piece old 3/16" kydex here at work. Is this too thick for sheaths? I figure I can use it for belt loops but would like a piece of .080 or .090 but since this is all I have I need to use it if I can.

I can always make pancake sheaths with a thin .060 front.
Any thoughts?

Way too thick!!! I would suggest .080 or .090 for the back and .060 for the front to give good detail. I only use .125 for belt loop and fixtures.

Heck I used to make body armor for swordfighting out of 3/16ths!

You got any good sized peices of that 3/16ths you want to trade???
