I hope the pics show up *crosses fingers*

I went out for the first time this season this past Saturday. Eventually met up with PorcupineMtns66. We looked for some decent wood for feathersticks, and either I stink or the cottonwood(I think) wasn't working very well for me. We chatted by a nice fire about what skills we both were looking to get some practice on this year, I think we came across a few similar ones. Anyways, here come the pics. And, he talked me into getting some pics of the kit I recently put together & the book that was gifted to me, thanks again.

It looks to me that lightning peeled this one. I could be wrong.

Me getting the kit emptied from the TAD Round & 2 Recon pouches. I couldn't believe how much I actually got together in these 3.

The fire was already going before sundown. It was a nice one.

We saw "Wiley Coyote" (from one of my past posts) about 50 yards ahead of us as we exited. He was trotting at us then bolted by just 20 feet away from us. That thing was covering some serious ground and wanted nothing to do with us! I had him in my headlamp spotlight the moment we saw him, as he was bolting by and as he dissappeared into the woods behind us. He was about the size of a young German Shepard. Pretty cool!
