3/4 hp enough for a disc sander?

I have used a lot of 1hp and 1.5hp 3 phase motors with kbac vfds

I can get a 3/4 hp motor for almost half the price of a 1hp and considering it’s going to be a dedicated disc sander setup curious if anyone else has any complaints of it being underpowered?
