The title says it. Recommend folders with 3-4 inch wharncliffe blade. The Spyderco Yojimbo and Blackhawk Be Wharned are examples. Are there others worthy of note? Can be "tactical" but somewhat gentlemanly models are preferred.

Spyderco Chokwe
Spyderco Yojimo
Boker Anso 67

If you can handle around a 2.5 inch blade - The Spyderco Gayle Bradley Air is wonderful.

It's a real shame that many of the Böker knives like Anso seem to have quality problems. The designs are really interesting, but I dont have time or want to send knives back and forth for blade play.

I've seen and hear of several people that have the Boker Anso's but never really heard of any issues with them.
Most people seem to really like them.
Plus Boker has really stepped up over time.

Though of all mentioned, I love the Chokwe and Gayle Bradley Air the most.

That Peter R. Druid looks amazing though!

If you want a slipjoint, too. The Otter Webermesser might fit the bill. It´s a small gentleman´s knife with roundabout 3" blade (roundabout 8,4 cm). It´s made in Germany, Solingen by the cutlery company Otter.

It has a carbon steel blade, steel bolsters/liners and wood handles. A nice dress knife as well as a working horse.

Maybe worth a look...

There have been reports of Anso having problems with the lock on this forum. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-have-a-boker-anso-67-id-love-to-hear-reviews I do like the looks of Anso, but also the Chokwe. Guess that Spyderco has more consistent quality. Never had a Spyderco though.
